Gama Packthread Industries (GPI) produces goods with high tenacity polypropylene multifilament yarn, PPMF twine, and industrial bag closing threads. With over 15 years of experience in the plastic manufacturing sector, we started our journey in the Yarn sector as Gama Packthread industries. Since the beginning, we have produced polypropylene yarn with innovative ideas. After our successful beginning, we expanded to include PPMF twine and bag closing threads.

Infrastructure

Gama Packthread Industries has their own set-up at the moment which is located on morbi-navlakhi Highway at just before navlakhi SIR and approximately 25 km. Away from the fastest growing navlakhi port. Our unit spans an area of 60,000 sq.ft. and consists of multiple warehouses.

We have state of the art facilities and latest technology in our manufacturing unit, modern manufacturing has enabled us to produce a variety of products. We have used plastic processing technologies to convert a variety of materials for the manufacture of PP (polypropylene) yarns as well as synthetic sewing threads by utilizing a variety of plastics processes. Each and every manufacturing process is controlled in-house from raw material testing to the spinning, twisting, winding, and finished goods tests in order to maintain quality.

To date, we produce around 1000 tpa (tonnes per annum); however, we are looking to expand our production capacity in the near future. We currently manufacture (PP) multifilament yarns and (PPMF) twine at approximately 150 tpa each. Finally we manufacture around 0.6 million pieces of (PP) bag closing thread-y cones every year.
